Devin Kay is a professional educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience in the United States and overseas. He is currently a teacher at Singapore American School (SAS) where he has had the pleasure of working with and mentoring students who consistently go on to attend some of the top universities in the world, particularly in the United States. He holds a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and a social studies teaching certification for grades 6-12. He is the professional learning community leader for a team of Advanced Placement history teachers who successfully prepare students for the annual College Board AP U.S. History exam. He is also best known as the architect and head coach of the SAS high school debate program. Under his coordination and coaching, the school has won the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asia Schools debate championships five times since 2012.
